LFP Chapter Established in Sialkot and organized a seminar on the subject “Governance & Liberalism” at Kababish Restaurent Sialkot.
On March 25, 2010, Sialkot Chapter was established and it held its first elections for 2010 under the supervision of Board Member Rao Akram Khurram.
All good standing member took part in the elections.Mr Husnain Islam was unopposed elected as the President, Mr. Faizan malik as the Secretary, and Mr Usman Aslam as the Information Secretary.
Mr Rao Akram Khurram Board Member LFP, Mr.Iqbal Dher social reformer, EX UC Nazim Shakeel Ahmed, Dr Rafiq Anjum President Sialkot development Alliance, Naveed Raza Secretary Union of journalists, and Tahir Naseem Advocate spoke to the seminar.
Rao Akram Khurram introduced the LFP and its functioning and Liberal values. Mr. Iqbal Dher expressed his views about the importance of liberal values such as secularism, freedom, equality of opportunity, decentralization and rule of law.
Dr. Rafiq Anjum said good governance and liberalism are the symbols of equality at all level without any discrimination of cast, creed, religion and color. Mr. Shakeel Ahmed said local government system serves the communities at their door step for governance. He added this system after all of criticism is the best system where every one has an opportunity to work for betterment of the society.
Tahir naseem said for good governance we need rule of law in the society & speedy justice process to overcome the bad governance.
They all appreciated the LFP to organize a seminar on the subject.
Seminar ended with the question and answer session and word of thanks by the Mr. Husnain Islam.

On March 25, 2010, Sialkot Chapter was established and it held its first elections for 2010 under the supervision of Board Member Rao Akram Khurram.
There were a total of 25 members who had paid their fee; all members took part in the elections and unanimously elected the following office bearers for the year:
President: Muhammad Husnain Ul Abadin
Secretary: Mr Faizan Malik
Information Secretary: Usman Aslam Awan
